First-Fit

The installation of the SuperDrive CVT System in a new vehicle does not require the removal of the original equipment transmission and is nearly the same as installing the original equipment transmission. Therefore first-fit installations are less expensive than retrofits. A first-fit SuperDrive CVT installation requires a licensed installer of aftermarket truck equipment to install the CVT after receipt of a production OE truck made without an OE transmission.
